About Ethereum (ETH)

Ethereum is like a big computer system that's not controlled by any one person. It uses ETH, which is also called Ether, to pay for things like transaction fees, which are sometimes called "gas." What is Ethereum?

Ethereum is the second-largest cryptocurrency, right after Bitcoin, and it's not just for payments—it's a platform where all kinds of apps and services can run, including lots of decentralized finance apps. All of this is powered by its own currency, Ether, which is used for different tasks within the Ethereum network, making it a crucial part of how everything works.

How does Ethereum work?

Ethereum works on a system called blockchain, which is like a big digital ledger that keeps track of all transactions. It's decentralized, meaning no one controls it, and once something is recorded, it can't be changed. The heart of Ethereum is its own digital currency called Ether (ETH), which is used to power transactions and computations within the network. Unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum's blockchain is designed to support various applications, from decentralized apps (DApps) to decentralized finance (DeFi) services. Originally using a system called proof-of-work (PoW), Ethereum switched to a different system called proof-of-stake (PoS) with something called 'The Merge.' This change aims to make the system more efficient and eco-friendly by having validators stake their ETH to secure the network instead of using energy-intensive mining methods.

What are the potential use cases for Ethereum?

Ethereum isn't just about moving money around it's a whole playground for building different kinds of decentralized apps (dApps) on its blockchain. These apps can do all sorts of things, from games to identity systems, and from tracking supply chains to creating complex financial tools. Plus, Ethereum allows for the creation and trading of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which are special digital items that represent ownership of all sorts of stuff, like art or collectibles.

About Monero (XMR)

Among cryptocurrencies, Monero is the most anonymous.

Monero uses the CryptoNote algorithm, which means that, in contrast to public blockchains like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others, you cannot see who sent it, who received it, or even how much was sent. The use of Stealth Addresses and Ring Signatures technologies makes this possible.

After the exchange, what should you do if you didn't receive Monero?

First, confirm that information about the sent transaction is included in the order. If there isn't any transaction data, try waiting a little while or getting in touch with technical support. Payment delays may occasionally arise because of the protocol-level blocking of funds in the Monero network updates from November 30 until ten network confirmations are received.

Check your  Monero wallet's synchronisation as the second step. The number in the "Blockchain Height" field of the "Network" block on the MoneroHash website should match the last block in the wallet. If not, attempt to restart your wallet.

In order to decrypt the transaction and verify the transfer of funds, contact technical support and request a private viewing key if the order includes the information from the transaction we sent, the wallet is synchronised, but the transaction is not visible in the wallet.

When will I be able to use the final Monero?

As previously stated, funds are blocked until ten network confirmations are obtained in the November 30 Monero network updates at the protocol level. That is, the money received cannot be used until the transaction has ten confirmations. Ten confirmations are typically sent for a transaction in 20 minutes.

Speed of transaction processing

Block releases take around two minutes on average. However, there are occasionally delays, and the block exit time may take ten to twenty minutes.
